Travel

You’ll find full practical information here for arriving in Paris by plane, train, car, coach, or boat.

  • From CDG airport: Charles De Gaulle airport is 26 km north-east of central Paris. Many transport options (approx. prices here) are available to and from the airport.
  • From Orly airport: Orly airport is 14 km to the south of Paris. Bus, train and taxis are available to and from the airport.
  • By train: Paris can be reached by train in a matter of hours from elsewhere in France and all major European cities. All 9 stations bring you right into the heart of the city. They are situated in different areas of Paris relating to the destinations that the trains serve, and are well connected to the public transport network (metro, RER, bus).
  • By road: It’s quite straightforward: depending on where you come in from, you’ll join the ring road at one of the 30 gateways (“portes”) that punctuate the 35 km of expressway. Traffic flow and journey time between gateways are displayed on illuminated overhead panels. Exit signs for each gateway into the city are given plenty of time in advance so as not to miss them, so make sure you position yourself correctly in the right-hand lane. The speed limit is 70 km/h (43mph), sometimes less whenever pollution levels peak.

EUROCLAY 2019 conference will be held Congress Center complex of Pierre & Marie Curie University (UPMC). The University is located in the center of Paris and easily accessible by:

  • Metro lines ligne7 or ligne10
  • Bus lines n°24, 63, 67, 86, 87, and 89 (stops in the vicinity of the Campus)
